Icelandic Glacial Hydrates Attendees at AFI FEST 2010 presented by Audi

ÖLFUS, Iceland (October 13, 2010) — Icelandic Water Holdings ehf’s award-winning CarbonNeutral® natural spring water Icelandic Glacial announces today that its super-premium bottled water from Iceland will be cooling down entertainment insiders and film lovers at this year’s AFI FEST 2010 presented by Audi, taking place November 4-11 in Hollywood, California at the historic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Mann Chinese 6 theatres, the Egyptian Theatre and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Icelandic Glacial has been chosen as the international film festival’s official bottled water and will be on hand at all festival venues, including at screenings and panel discussions.

Icelandic Glacial, renowned for its award-winning bottle design, exceptional purity and green credentials, is currently the fastest-growing super-premium bottled water in the United States.

Each fall, AFI FEST presents the year's most significant films. Featuring international work from emerging filmmakers, global showcases of films from the great masters and red-carpet gala premieres, AFI FEST brings the very best of world cinema to the city of Los Angeles, the film capital of the world.

“Icelandic Glacial’s North American headquarters are located in Los Angeles, so we are particularly proud to be the official bottled water for AFI FEST, the longest-running international film festival in the city. Our exceptionally pure water is one of Iceland’s greatest natural resources and we look forward to bringing a little bit of majestic, exotic Iceland to the festival,” remarked Jon Olafsson, chairman and co-founder, Icelandic Glacial.

Icelandic Glacial uses 100% natural green energy in the form of geothermal and hydroelectric power to fuel production. Icelandic Glacial’s label and plastic bottle are 100% recyclable. Earlier this year, the company’s water source was declared certifiably sustainable by Zenith International, Europe’s leading food and beverage consultancy.

This announcement comes on the heels of Icelandic Glacial’s involvement as the official water sponsor of last month’s popular EPICENTER Twenty Ten music festival.
