As food and drink critics scan the horizon for breakthrough products to back, it seems that Super Premium bottled waters and Icelandic Glacial, might just be one of the favourites for 2006? writes Marilyn Marter for the Philadelphia Inquirer (see link)
Following its fine reception in the US market, the multi award winning Icelandic Glacial brand is also receiving rave reviews from independent industry critics with a finger on the pulse
In the recent edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Icelandic Glacial found favour with food writer, Marter, as she listed the product in her top 20 picks for 2006, which she believes will become part of our everyday lives, in line with shifting perceptions and demands of the everyday consumer.
Patrick Racz, CEO for Icelandic Glacial added, ‘today’s discerning consumers are more informed in their buying decisions and demand the very highest quality in the products which they place in their bodies, but at the same time, need to have these products readily available’.
Icelandic Glacial is a new entrant to the market, but is an everyday luxury in that it has ‘massclusivity’appeal – exclusivity for the masses...Why?
1) It’s purity is among an elite few;
2) it’s packaging has won international awards and acclaim; and 3) the product will be widely available, being sold nationwide through retailers including Target Stores and soon to be available at Wild Oats, Whole Food Stores and Trader Joe’s across the US
