Associate Brand Manager


POSITION: Associate Brand Manager

Then Icelandic Glacial is the place for you! We are looking for our next rockstar to join the Icelandic Glacial marketing team as Associate Brand Manager. Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will work with the Social Media Manager, our internal corporate team, agency partners and the global Icelandic Glacial team as we push towards high growth for the company.  

Let’s talk about responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will assist in the development of consumer marketing campaigns and brand strategies to engage our current base of consumers and penetrate the market to reach new ones. You will collaborate with a group of cross-functional internal team members and agency partners to execute both national and retailer specific marketing plans. You will be owner of the brand and ensure all communication touchpoints are consistent with the look/feel/voice of the brand.

  • Be the brand expert - know the category, brand performance, competitors, distribution and retail sets
  • Analyze brand performance and report progress to senior leadership on a monthly basis using Nielsen data, shipment data, depletion reports etc.
  • Execute new product launches or marketing programs, working cross-functionally with Social Media, Agency Partners, Sales, Operations, Finance, and global markets
  • Conduct category-specific analyses (when needed) to find white space and recommend new products to fill Icelandic Glacial portfolio opportunities
  • Own the POS graphic request process with Sales; provide all brand approvals
  • Liaison with Sales on any retailer meeting or trade show needs
  • Manage and execute all national trade show plans for company (Expo West, NACS, Fancy Foods, BevNET, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 2-4 years prior marketing experience (consumer packaged goods industry is a plus)
  • BS/BA degree in marketing or related field
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication / writing skills (could include some copy-writing)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proven history of being both creative and analytical in prior roles
